In The Raw Salad


My absolute favorite salad. I am so happy In The Raw decided to bottle this goodness up! Now we can all recreate our fav salad at home!

In The Raw Salad

Servings 2 or 4 side salads


  • 1 cup in the raw – Ginger Vinaigrette linked below
  • 2 heads green leaf lettuce
  • 8 wanton wrappers
  • 1 green onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil


  • Heat oil in a medium sized pan on low to medium heat.
  • Place the 8 wanton wrappers on top of each other & cut 4 times to make 32 strips.
  • Start making the crispy wantons once the oil is hot enough (about 2-3 minutes). Test one strip in the oil to start. If it doesn't sizzle, it is not hot enough. Wait 1 more minute and test again. Cook 4 strips at a time for 5-10 seconds – turning over with a fork halfway through. Remove with a slotted spoon once they turn a light golden brown. Allow to cool on a paper towel.
  • In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, chicken, and 1/2 cup of the vinaigrette. Toss to coat. Next, add the wantons, almonds, and green onions and lightly toss again. Taste and add more vinaigrette if desired. Serves 2 main courses or 4-6 side salads.
