Heirloom Tomato Tart from The French Laundry Cookbook

I am cooking my way through The French Laundry Cookbook to practice classic techniques. The French Laundry is a Michelin star restaurant found in Yountville, California. The restaurant was founded in 1978 and is led by chef Thomas Keller. Want to learn some new techniques and create a unique culinary experience at home? Grab this cookbook and start cooking with me!

This recipe has a few areas that take a bit of time but believe me it is worth it. Every bite of the tart is the best bite you will have all week! The olive tapenade is the best I have tried. I will be finding more recipes to include this tapenade because it is die for! If you are in a time crunch or cooking all day isn’t your thing, buy puff pastry from the store instead of making it from scratch. I also loved the basil vinaigrette and used the leftovers all week on different dishes. This is a must try dish!

TASTE: Absolutely Spectacular!
