Baked Doughnuts with King Arthur Flour

Easter Doughnuts, Birthday Doughnuts, or just a fun morning baking, these Baked Doughnuts are insanely cute and delicious!

My daughter loves baking with me so I thought we would make her favorite… doughnuts with fun sprinkles!! I love baking the dough instead of frying it. It is a little healthier and I don’t have to worry about using hot oil when my toddler wants to help.

King Arthur’s flour is great for baking and their recipes are consistently spot on! I made these with King Arthur’s Easy Vanilla Glaze. Then of course added my own twist with sprinkles… a lot of sprinkles actually.  I mean can you ever have too many sprinkles? The answer is no, not when you have a two year old!

TIPS:

  • If you are using a silicone doughnut baking pan, cook for 6 minutes longer.
  • After you dip the doughnut in the icing, allow it to sit for 1 minute before adding the sprinkles. This helps the icing from clumping.
  • Doughnuts are best the day of, so eat up!

TASTE: Sweet and Fabulous!

TIME: 25 min for the doughnuts + 10 min for the Vanilla Glaze + 5 min to add sprinkles (the fun part!) = Total of approx. 40 min.

TROUBLE: Pretty simple for the most part, just a couple different moving parts!
