My husband and I are overly obsessed with the mini quiches they sell in the boulangeries in France. Why does everything taste better when it is minature? I bought these 5 inch mini tart pans to use when I read How Sweet Eat’s recipe for Goat Cheese Quiche and they turned out absolutely perfect!
How Sweet Eats has the perfect recipe if you are looking for a savoury and filling brunch dish. This Burst Tomato, Prosciutto and Goat Cheese Quiche is tasty and oh so cheesy! I love the fresh basil and parsley, perfect to jump into the spring season!
The mini tart pans are great if you are hosting a brunch, wanting to meal prep, or just making breakfast for your family. The tomato and proscuitto make it a perfect option for dinner as well.
Tips:
- This recipe is for a 9 inch tart pan or deep dish pie plate. If you decide to use mini tart pans, decrease the cooking time to 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees.
- I used How Sweet Eat’s dough recipe and it was fabulous! It is worth the extra time in my opinion. If you are in a hurry and don’t want to make dough from scratch, there is no shame in buying premade pie crust!
TASTE: Absolutely Amazing!
TIME: Dough from scratch (2 hrs), Pre-made pie crust (approx. 1 hr 30 min.)
TROUBLE: The filling for the quiche is incredibly easy and quick to assemble.
