Lemon Spaghetti by Giada De Laurentiis

My mother in law served this Lemon Spaghetti last weekend and it was incredible! It is great served alone, with shrimp, chicken, or tossed with some arugula. Step right into Spring with this lemon spaghetti!

Giada always has the best pasta recipes and this one is so simple you are going to want to make it weekly! It seriously was so good that I couldn’t stop taking bites out of the pasta bowl while photographing these pictures. The parmesan and lemon work wonderfully together to create creamy pasta. Not to mention it has very few ingredients, which is always a plus! I absolutely love this Lemon Spaghetti.

Tips:

  • Grate the lemon zest before juicing the lemons. It is very hard to zest a lemon after cutting it!
  • Don’t forget to reserve some of the pasta water. Add small amounts until it is the consistency you want.
  • I added spicy shrimp and it was the perfect addition to this pasta. I just tossed the shrimp with a little olive oil, salt, pepper, and cayenne before putting it under a broiler until pink. (About 2-3 minutes per side)
